Equishield® SA (Skin and Allergy) was formulated by veterinarians for horses. Loaded with ingredients to help reduce skin irritations, and to promote healthy skin.  Made specifically for horses exhibiting allergic, itchy behaviors.  May also be used for any condition that causes dermatitis (dry, flaky skin). Contains a unique combination of ingredients to manage diseased skin, and the allergic response. Equishield® SA uses quercetin, a natural antihistamine, to help decrease the need for corticosteroids and their adverse effects. It also contains other skin-benefiting ingredients such as MSM, a natural anti-inflammatory, Vitamin E, an antioxidant, and Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which hydrates the skin. To add additional support, ground-stabilized flaxseed is used to help reduce the immune response to common allergens, and rice bran serves as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
